Laurie begin her career in automotive design. After 13 years moving up the corporate ladder, she made the hard decision to move with her husband to Maryland and start a family.
Having a husband in the construction industry, she struck an interest in residential design, particularly in space planning. She began freelancing her skills for friends, which eventually led her to the path of launching Taylor Hart Design, her own boutique firm.
Specializing in creative floorpans and custom finishes, Taylor Hart Design continues to grow and receive awards for thoughtfully curated projects.
Laurie has studied engineering, design, business, and interior design and holds multiple degrees including a masters degree from MIT in Engineering and Business. Since 2015 she has built up her reputable business in the Annapolis area where she lives with her husband, their two boys and her lovable puppy.
Deanna has been working in the design industry serving Baltimore, Annapolis and DC areas since 2012. Design has been a part of Deanna’s life from a very young age. Her meticulous nature and her family’s history in the textile industry were the catalyst into design and architecture. She studied architecture at Boston Architectural College and worked on documenting Sacketts Harbor, NY for the National Register of Historic Places under a local architect.
While specializing in residential design, Deanna has worked in office spaces, schools, and restaurants. She is continually inspired by nature, art, history and the people that bring her into their homes. She has a passion for building a trusting relationship with her clients. Always guided by function, attention for detail, and creativity,
Deanna lives in Baltimore with her husband and six children. She is also a USA Swim coach for the Coppermine/Meadowbrook Ducks and enjoys volunteering at a local horse farm, caring for and riding horses.
Karin grew up in Northport, New York and attended Harvard University. After college, she worked for a benefits consulting firm, becoming an Associate Actuary, before deciding to stay home to raise her kids. Being a former collegiate athlete, she volunteered as a soccer coach for all of her kids teams. She was also the treasurer of her daughter’s gymnastics team and taught Sunday school, among other activities. Once the kids were in school, she got involved in the school system, substitute teaching and tutoring and then spent a short stint teaching high school Algebra. In 2017, Karin got her real estate license and she continues to enjoy all aspects of that profession.
In 2022, Karin joined Taylor Hart Design as a bookkeeper and is now adding Project Management to her title. Her responsibilities at Taylor Hart Design have proven to be a great mix of her interests in real estate, home design and decorating and her strengths in mathematics, organization and attention to detail.
Karin lives in Edgewater with her husband where they raised their three children. She spends her free time playing golf with her husband and participating in the ladies league at the Golf Club at South River.
